Books pass from hand to hand. They're never really owned only 'borrowed.' They pass from one reader to the next, carrying memories, conversations and adventures along the way. Long after we've finished reading, the stories stay with us while the book itself finds another pair of hands.
That's the idea behind our shop.
We give perfectly preloved books another chapter by the sea. Connecting them with new readers who'll love them just as much as the last. Every book has a past. every reader leaves a mark and every story deserves to be shared.

Where Do Our Books Come From?
Our shelves are filled with great books gathered from a variety of places, including house clearances, private collections, community donations, charity shops and independent sellers.
Each book has had a 'glow up'. It has been carefully 'dusted off', checked, and cleaned. We look for lovely editions, popular reads, forgotten favourites and hidden gems that deserve to be enjoyed all over again.
